Reusable RU Series fittings are an excellent choice for emergency repairs.
Assembly can be accomplished with hand wrenches; there is no crimper required. Properly assembled, a hose with reusable fittings will meet all applicable SAE specifications.
When making hose assemblies using reusable series fittings, make sure that the hose you are using is designed to work with the reusable series hose fittings (100R2AT or 100R5).
